Wildlife is abundant in the stunning Columbia River and Wetlands. Whether you are an avid birdwatcher or looking to take in the local flora and fauna we can show you the beauty that surrounds us. These views vary through the seasons. In spring, summer and fall you can enjoy a paddle on the river in a canoe, e-canoe or kayak. We also offer guided cataraft tours when the water depth allows.

Experience paddling adventures or a round of disc golf while you stay at our mountainside campground, cozy cabin, farmhouse suite, or the luxurious Outpost Lodge. Enjoy farm tours, a seasonal corn maze, and sample our homegrown farm to plate specialties. In the summer cruise down our slip and slide and take a selfie at the worlds largest paddle. Located by the Columbia Wetlands, we have it all!
Whether you are an avid disc golfer or first-time paddler, we have what it takes to make your adventure. Our knowledgeable staff are happy to help you choose a route in the Columbia River and Wetlands, ranging from first time paddler to expert. We offer canoe, e-canoe, kayak, stand up paddleboard, voyager (big red) canoe, cataraft, and peddle-boat rentals including all safety equipment and maps. Shuttle services are available.
The Columbia Wetlands Outpost Red Barn is a unique location for weddings amidst the magnificent backdrop of the Rocky and Purcell mountains whose timeless beauty and splendor seem to honor the promise of new beginnings.
The Red Barn has been lovingly restored to retain its rustic charm and is full of original features and antique accents. The large banquet and dance area can comfortably accommodate 120 guests. The kitchen is located on the lower floor and offers an ideal setting for local caterers and other creative hospitality solutions.
