Welcome home to CMH Bobbie Burns, your base for adventure. Fly to some of the most astounding hikes in Canada, accessible only via helicopter and cross off some bucket list items like the Crystalline Pass and the International Basin hikes. All ability levels are catered to.
CMH Bobbie Burns is home to TWO via ferratas, including the Mt. Nimbus (the highest via ferrata in North America) and Conrad Glacier full-day adventures.
If you’re visiting Golden and have 1, 2 or 3 days to spare, consider a heli-skiing trip at CMH Purcell. Purcell’s backyard is endless: from big, boast-worthy lines to mellow glades, its expansive terrain easily caters to various skiing styles.
Last-minute trips are typically available. Experience two tight-knit groups of 8 guests + 2 guides with one shared goal: a quick hit of fresh, untracked snow. Round up a crew or come solo.
CMH Purcell does not have a lodge that accommodates overnight guests; instead, guests are free to self-book accommodation in Golden.
Leave the car and your winter driving worries behind and use the daily shuttle service to get directly from Calgary Airport to Golden and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in British Columbia. Once you're here a regular local service makes it easy to move between downtown Golden and the slopes at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. And it's kind to the environment too!
