Rent a canoe kayak or SUP board just 7 km south of Golden. As you paddle an 11 km section of the 2000km Columbia river you may just be lucky enough to encounter any number of species of birds or mammals that make this wetland (15,000 hectares) their home!
Trip length is 2 hours at the shortest and can be up to 4 dependent on how much you paddle or relax and float.

Our Ski Touring Program offers guests an absolutely unique opportunity to experience the incredible Chatter Creek terrain under their own power. All tours fully guided, giving guests the opportunity to maximize turns and ski/board unbeatable terrain. Guest will enjoy a signature Chatter Creek experience, including backcountry lodging, gourmet meals and guided touring in some of the most stunning terrain on earth. As a bonus, guests will enjoy a “cat-assist” at the beginning (and end if needed!) of each day, taking you to an ideal zone for the day.
Alpine Odyssey takes pride in catering your guiding day to your specific needs. Whether it is rock climbing, glacier travel, or crevasse rescue courses, ice climbing in winter, or mountaineering on the larger peaks in the area, we will accommodate your needs.
Kicking Horse Aviation is a locally owned and operated fixed-wing charter operation offering scenic tours and custom charter flights in Golden BC. Set in the Columbia Valley, you will have endless views of the Rocky mountains, Purcells, Selkirks, and the Columbia Wetlands.
We use a Cessna 185, a high-winged aircraft, allowing for unobstructed views and bubble windows great for photography. A useful load of 1000 lbs will get you and what you need where you want to go.
