Rent a canoe kayak or SUP board just 7 km south of Golden. As you paddle an 11 km section of the 2000km Columbia river you may just be lucky enough to encounter any number of species of birds or mammals that make this wetland ( 15,000 hectares ) their home! Trip length is 2 hours at the shortest and can be up to 4 dependent on how much you paddle or relax and float.
