Trail Running Film Festival

The Selkirk Slacker is teaming up with Small Town Race Series to host the 2026 Brooks Trail Running Film Festival!!

Showing at the Whitetooth Brewery in Golden, BC on Thursday May 21, 2026. Doors at 6:30, show at 7:00pm.

This special film night celebrates running as a universal practice—one that helps us explore both our collective and individual potential, connect with wild places, and pursue our boldest dreams. Through powerful storytelling and stunning visuals, the films showcase the culture of trail and ultra running, highlighting adventure, resilience, creativity, and community.

By supporting independent filmmakers and creatives, and by gathering together in shared spaces like this, we aim to strengthen the trail running community here in Golden and beyond. This event is rooted in our commitment to inclusivity, diversity, wilderness, art, and a deep love of movement through wild landscapes.

Whether you’re a seasoned ultra runner, a weekend trail explorer, or simply someone who loves great stories and good beer, this is a night to connect, be inspired, and celebrate the trail community.
