Where is Golden?

Three hours drive west of Calgary, Golden BC is a small mountain town in the heart of Canadian ski terrain, surrounded by the Columbia and Rocky Mountains. The birthplace of heliskiing is just down the road and there are 5 resorts within a two hour drive. Home to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, renowned for its 4000ft of vertical, unique big mountain terrain, and the Champagne Powder Capital of Canada. If you are expecting a glitzy designer vibe, that is not Golden. We are an authentic tight knit community, who are extremely passionate about mountain sports.
