The delightful and exuberant MasqueParade celebrates its 18th anniversary this February. Part self-expression via community art-making and part theatrical spectacle, MasqueParade honors the history and cultural heritage of Golden’s mountain home with an artistic street party that attracts over 1,000 participants. Spirit Square will be transformed into a magic realm with music, dancing, stilt walking, giant puppets, snow and ice carving, shadow plays, fire spinning, and other circus arts.
