Went later in the day and could park close by. Very easy access and stunning. Still busy in late August so getting your timing right is important. It was 27 degrees at 4pm!

We rented canoes on site and enjoyed a leisurely paddle on the lake. Arrived at 9:30, 10am open, we were on the lake at 11:30. Smokey haze didn’t stop the water from looking great. Bonus, saw a bear...
