This turquoise gem is in Yoho National Park. It's a great spot for canoeing and is one of the best ways to enjoy a sunny day in the Canadian Rockies.  Easy Access off the Trans-Canada Highway 1, east of Golden.

We went with a small tour so parking was accessible. It is pretty crowded but worth it. The line for canoes was quite long but we walked around the lake. The trail is flat and the crowds thinned...

Absolutely gorgeous place but very busy. We visited on a Saturday so it was probably busier than usual. We were lucky enough to arrive at just the right time to get a parking space in the visitor car...
