Emerald Lake
This turquoise gem is in Yoho National Park. It's a great spot for canoeing and is one of the best ways to enjoy a sunny day in the Canadian Rockies. Easy Access off the Trans-Canada Highway 1, east of Golden.

“Crowded but beautiful”
We went with a small tour so parking was accessible. It is pretty crowded but worth it. The line for canoes was quite long but we walked around the lake. The trail is flat and the crowds thinned...
