Spent the weekend up at the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort training for the upcoming Kootenay Rockies Enduro Race. Saturday was focused on checking out some of the trails that are rumored to be in the second day of the race. Sunday, we headed out on a classic Golden Alpine adventure. Starting from the top of the gondola, we hiked our bikes up to T2, and then rode the ridge out to T4. Caught some amazing views of the Purcell Mountains and the Columbia wetlands, and then descended the ridge down to LSD and Canyon Creek Trails. A quick blast through the Moonrakers and a descent down Gold Rush brought us back into town.
