Swedish big mountain skier Johan Jonsson headed to BC’s Dogtooth Mountain Range in search of the usual deep February snow, but no new snow and warm weather made sniffing out the fresh stuff a huge challenge. Ten anguishing days—and endless cups of coffee—later, Jonsson met local mountain guide Scott Belton who took pity on the traveling Euro and led the way to a secret stash. No friends on a powder day?
