Stop #2 had us heading east over Rogers Pass to the town of Golden, BC home to Kicking Horse Resort. Here Tommy Frey, Desiree Leipham and myself met up with our good friend and longtime KHMR local Steve Fisk who visited Kicking Horse over 13 years ago and he never left.

We didn’t even have to drink it blue on this trip as it seemed the weather gods were looking out for us as we were greeted with another day of Blue skies. According to Steve KHMR received some snow a few days earlier in the mid week. A quick ride up the Golden Eagle Gondola and a traverse out CPR Ridge to maximize the Blue bird and soft snow.
