WIN A TRIP TO GOLDEN, BC

Every day we are impressed by the amazing pictures and videos that people share of Golden BC and the stunning mountains that surround us; so much so that we started calling them “Golden Moments”. We want to share these moments with you, which is why, beginning May 1, 2017, we will be launching our “150 Golden Moments” contest to help celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary.

How To Enter

This contest is very simple just follow these steps

1. Take a picture or brief video (maximum 30 seconds) in or around Golden, BC of your favourite Golden Moment. This could be an activity, viewpoint, event or person. (Yes the nearby national and provincial parks count). If you’re looking for inspiration of activities and attractions that are worthy of your Golden Moment, the My Golden Experience Finder and Suggested Itineraries are a great way to start.

2. Post your picture or video to Instagram, and include the hashtags #150GoldenMoments, #GoldenBC and @TourismGolden in the caption.

3. For good measures Tag Tourism Golden in any pictures.

4. Finally, follow the official Tourism Golden Instagram account. It's easy we even showed you how to do it on the picture below ▼

Each month we will pick the 15 best entries, and post them right here on this page for everyone to see. After 10 months (the last day to enter will be February 28, 2018, for those doing the math), we will choose our 15 favourites for you to vote on.

Why Enter This Contest, What’s In It For You?

For starters, the winner will get a trip to Golden and the other 14 runners up will win a Golden themed prize pack. Photos will also be featured through our and those of our partners' social media channels and on our website with all the photo credit going to you. Finally, we want to inspire you to get out and experience all the amazing activities, sights, sounds and people that Golden, B.C., has to offer.
