Golfing

The Golden Golf Course is revered by golf aficionados as one of the finest places to tee off in the Canadian Rockies.

Years ago, the vision of several local residents and golf enthusiasts was to bring golf to Golden in an area where there was no traffic, houses or hotels. The chosen location was the south side of the Columbia River; a beautiful natural landscape with no development. Much of the physical work to build the course was done by volunteers of the Golden Golf Club society and, before long, the Golden Golf Course, was a reality.
Golfing in Golden is a definite escape from the realities of the everyday. A friendly atmosphere, mixed with elegant and distinguished services, all compliment the spectacular surrounding landscape.
