Golden was in part built buy the lumber industry. Thanks to this there is a nearly endless network of forestry service roads leading to trails galore! One of the best ways to get out there is on top of an all terrain vehicle (ATV or Quad).
 
From pristine rivers and lakes to breathtaking mountains and valleys, there’s a photo opportunity around nearly every corner. Wildlife is abundant. Take a professionally guided tour or bring out you own machine.
 
Have yourself a proper Golden adventure, but please me mindful of the surrounding environment. Ask for our new Golden Backcountry Recreation Map (will be printed in March 2009) which outlines motorized and non -motorized areas around Golden, BC

Stay on trail, pack out what you pack in, stay off private property and do not try to feed or approach wild animals.
