Within a swarm of over 1000 paper planes, five dancers express movement stories drenched in vigorous and urgent physicality. Paper Mountains is about time, memory, flight, and longing.
The Myrtle Sisters, featuring Candice Roberts, Nayana Fielkov, and Kat Single-Dain, are a trio of east Vancouver performers delighting audiences of all ages with their harmonies, twinkling-tap numbers and family antics! They’ve been showcasing a clowning, vaudeville and dance menagerie of musical calamity for over 10 years in a variety of venues. Expect plenty of charm and shenanigans along with their original and historic songs and dances. The music stands on its own, but their onstage theatrical antics, tap stylings and wild tunes are not to be missed.
Oh Pray Tell, led by Shayna Jones, Sally Titasey and Betty Supple, weaves elements of folk storytelling, spoken word and performance art into three-part, soulful harmonies and lays them down over pulsing rhythms. Based on Sinixt Territory, their live performance takes witnesses on a transformative musical journey as they seamlessly transition between genres, merging tradition and innovation.

JS Bach’s Long Walk in the Snow takes you along on that trip: a 400 km odyssey to a glittering northern port city with street fights, big business, insight, fulfillment, the father figure he didn’t know he needed and, quite possibly, love.
After debuting at the 2016 San Diego Fringe Festival and winning the distinctions of “Outstanding Solo Performance” and “Best Show”, Josephine toured throughout North America in 2017, picking up awards and 5 star reviews at every stop.
Tonye Aganaba is a Black African queer, disabled and non-binary immigrant and uninvited settler living on the unceded ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish & Tsleil-Waututh First Nations.
