Trouble in the Headwaters, a 25-minute documentary by Daniel J. Pierce, is coming to Golden!
This film sheds light on the disastrous 2018 flood event in Grand Forks, BC, and features UBC forest hydrology and watershed management Professor Dr. Younes Alila. Both Daniel and Younes will be present to introduce the film and answer questions afterwards as part of a panel discussion with local experts and Wildsight’s forestry team.
Golden’s wildly successful Christmas Craft Faire will be back again this year at Mt. 7 Rec Plex.
For decades now, the Christmas Craft Faire is the kickoff to the Christmas season and the social event of the month. With more than 60 artists, artisans, and crafters, the Craft faire is the spot for local artists and artisans to showcase their work.
