Heralded by the Georgia Straight in 2013 for his debut CD, Lost Stories: Volume 1, Ben has continued to write unforgettable songs ranging from raucously upbeat stomp-alongs to broodingly traditional “murder ballads.” His backing band is a kick-ass quartet featuring some of Western Canada’s best musicians, and together it’s a bit like Waylon Jennings teamed up with the Flying Burrito Brothers. Whether sharing a stage with Dwight Yoakum or thrilling festival crowds all over North America, Ben Rogers and his boys take the audience on a true musical adventure.
