Golden BC COVID-19 Information

Last Updated: November 30, 2020, at 9:30 pm MST

On November 19th the Provincial Health Officer issued new province-wide restrictions all individuals, places of work and businesses in B.C. to significantly reduce their level of social interactions and travel. Find out more here.

Until the current restrictions are updated we are asking everyone to avoid non-essential travel. Dream Golden and plan ahead for your winter trip when it is safer to travel again.

Throughout Phase 3 of British Columbia's restart plan, Golden has been a safe and welcoming community to visitors from British Columbia and other provinces.  As we enter winter and the holiday season it is more important than ever to travel responsibly. Please review the recommendations in Phase 3 of British Columbia’s Restart Plan, following these guidelines will help to protect travellers and residents as they travel. We have created a "Travelling to Golden during COVID-19" document to help you plan ahead, CLICK HERE to view or download it.

While in Golden we ask that everyone abide by individual COVID-19 protocols that are visible prior to entering each business. Each business's protocols should include information about masks, hand sanitization, and maximum occupancy. Bringing your own personal protective equipment such as masks and hand sanitizer is very important. Finally, PLANNING AHEAD whenever possible is more important than ever. This includes accommodations, dinner reservations and all activities.
