Chatter Creek Cat and Heli skiing

Chatter Creek Golden

Chatter Creek is known as the ultimate cat-skiing experience. Renowned by skiers and snowboarders world-wide, this incredible backcountry destination is the place dreams are made of. Chatter Creek’s Western Rockies location enjoys some of the lightest, driest powder snow in the world with reliable quality snow from early December to late April.

The cat-skiing terrain at Chatter Creek is comprised of 238 square kilometres of mountain terrain that extends from 1500m (5,000’) elevation to almost 3000m (10,000’). That is equivalent to 92 square miles or 58,000 acres. With only 36 skiers and snowboarders on this terrain each day, the untracked powder lines are endless.

Chatter Creek is also the closest cat-skiing operation to Calgary and features heli-transport right from your car to the lodge, meaning skiers and snowboarders enjoy their vacation sooner than any other operation in the Rockies.

Each package includes helicopter transport, professionally guided cat-skiing, three gourmet meals per day, backcountry lodging and good times you’ll never forget.

From $800 per day includes 3 gourmet meals, skiing, accommodations and helicopter flights.

Food, staff, accommodations, guides, terrain are unbeatable. Cat skied here last year and will be leaving for my first sledding trip up to Chatter this weekend for my 40th bday.

I agree with the others so I won't repeat what they are saying except to say that when things go wrong you need not worry. I pulled or tore a hamstring (waiting for my MRI) and our guides Brody...
