Moonraker, Canyon Creek & CBT Trails
The Moonraker, Canyon Creek and CBT trail systems are a superb mix of intermediate singletracks and old roads. Over 129 km of trails offer interesting rides in cedar and fir forests with good views of the valley, as well as meadows, beaver ponds and streams.
The Moonraker trials offer classic fast, flowy, single track riding with outstanding views. The system has lots of technical sections, but also many intermediate and some easy sections. Some singletracks have lots of roots.
Canyon Creek trail is connected to Moonraker trail system and offers challenging uphill and spectacular downhill along the canyon’s rim. The trail is definitely not for those with a fear of heights.
The CBT tails offers an approach to the Moonraker system from downtown Golden. The recently expanded CBT Mainline trails are superb single track rides in their own right.
