“Dolce Fine Giornata” sits at the intersection of art and politics, freedom of speech and moral consequence, public and personal life.
Maria Linde, a free-spirited, Jewish Polish Nobel Prize winner, lives in Tuscany surrounded by warmth and chaos in her family’s villa. A loving mother and grandmother, she also fosters a secret flirtation with the much younger Egyptian man who runs a nearby seaside inn. This is a drama that’s just as much about family relationships as it is about politics and consequences and a contemplation of the power of words and the value assigned to artists in society.
