For racers, summer is a full-time commitment of training, performing and traveling. As the leaves start to fall and seasons change, racers are afforded a very short window of riding without commitment. Yeti and Fox Factory rider, Shawn Neer, uses fall to travel to Canada, where he cut his teeth as a rider. After a season of racing, Neer uses his time in Canada as a way to reset and reconnect with why he fell in love with riding in the first place. It’s a race for different reasons: one last ride on alpine trails before winter fully sets in and Neer travels home to begin off-season training.
