Tourism Golden wishes to develop positive and lasting relationships with travel writers, photographers and videographers. We invite you to experience the natural wonder of Golden and Kicking Horse Country where captivating stories emerge from the myriad adventures available. 

We are able to offer a number of services to qualified journalists to assist with research, such as arranging discounted or complimentary accommodations, admission to attractions and events, assistance with suggestions and/or important connections as well as itinerary preparation.

We generally require several weeks advance notice to arrange to host journalists; however, this may be flexible. The following information is required to assist in hosting a journalist:

• tentative arrival and departure dates
• story focus
• an assignment letter from editor or several clippings from past work
• accommodation preferences
• any special needs or requests.
