River & Wetland Tours

The Columbia River is a designated BC Heritage River that begins south of Golden at Columbia Lake and travels great lengths to its end at the Pacific Ocean. The Columbia River Wetlands were declared a wildlife management area in 1996 and in 2005 were designated am International Ramsar Site due to its global ecological significance.

Guided interpretive river and wetland tours are a great way to see wildlife and travel along one of the last natural pathways left for migratory birds. See eagles, great blue heron and other species of birds in their natural environment amidst the backdrop of Rocky Mountains. It’s a nature lover’s dream come true!
