Gorman Lake
You will not want to miss this popular hike on a well built trail to a beautiful alpine lake. Nestled amongst the towering peaks of the Purcells, this snow fed lake is one of Golden's most popular destinations to enjoy spectacular mountain scenery, fly fish, picnic and camp. Easy, 4 km long hike (one way) will satisfy even serious outdoor enthusiasts but is also great for families with kids. The scenery is spectacular and the lake is a real jewel. There are tent pads and picnic tables at the lake. Enjoy an incredible tranquility and beauty of this place!
